It is possible to setup the outgoing user to correspond to an IP, meaning that any mail can be sent from anyone on the configured IP.  This can be useful for many domains on the same IP.

To setup your ougoing filter to use an IP address please complete the folowing steps:

  • Click 'Add Domain' from the web interface (You can also use an existing domain if you prefer)
    • Add a domain, e.g; out.example.com or select an existing one
    • Return to the main control panel of the web-interface
  • Select the domain you want to manage and open the domain dashboard.
  • select 'Manage Users' underneath the 'Outgoing' section
  • click 'Add User'
  • Enter the IP in the username box, followed by the domain you just created. e.g; 12.12.12.12@out.example.com
  • Do not enter a pasword, any connection from that IP will be considered authenticated without needing to use SMTP AUTH.
  • Click 'Add'
  • You're done! Now all you need to do is edit the settings of the outgoing user to suit your needs.
